As part of the 29^th annual Popeye Picnic in Chester in 2008, a new Popeye themed business will officially held its Grand Opening.

Rough House Pizza, owned by Greg and Cindy Snider, will hold their official ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday.  The pizza place is located next to Chester Video on Swanwick Street.

The official ribbon cutting ceremony took place immediately after the official unveiling ceremony of the Bluto statue at the intersection of West Holmes and Swanwick Streets. 

Chester Chamber President Chris Blechle presented Rough House Pizza owners Greg and Cindy Snider with Chester t-shirts and a complimentary one-year membership in the Chester Chamber.

Sam Brown, who plays Rough House in the yearly radio show produced by the Popeye Fan Club, participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony.  Free samples of pizza and other products along with door prizes were offered.
